One of the leading gubernatorial aspirants of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state, Dr Paul Akintelure has been confirmed dead.
Akintelure who hails from Okitipupa in Ondo state died in the early hours of Tuesday March 26, 2024.
Dr Akintelure in the previous weeks had raised alarm over threat to life by some people in the state.
In 2012, Akintelure served as the running mate to late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
Akintelure was a medical doctor and close ally to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu before his demise.
