Amidst economic Hardship experienced across board in the country, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced 25% reduction in transport fares and a working plan of 3 days a week for civil servants in level 1-14 in the state exclusive of school teachers.
He said workers in the teaching sector will however maintain the five days a week work schedule but government will ensure additional transport support for them.
Also, Lagos food market where residents can buy a 25,000naira worth items will be opened across the state for a duration of five Sundays.
These measures were announced by the governor during a media chat tagged “Sanwo Speaks” with journalists in Lagos as move to by the state government to navigate the hard times.
