The second edition of the Bet9ja Ondo State Football League kicked off with a bang on Tuesday as Real Ifon FC anhilated Focus FC 7-0 in the first match of the second edition of the league in Owo.
The match, played on Tuesday at the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) stadium, Owo had Real Ifon scoring six goals in the first half of the game.
In the second half, all efforts to reduce the deficit by Focus FC proved abortive as Real Ifon put the icing on the cake to make it 7-0 to end the game.

The Assistant Coach of Real Ifon FC, Toba Abiloro, said his team had prepared and ready to ensure that they emerged from the group.
Abiloro said his team just entered final in two grassroots competitions which showed that they had what it required to progress to the next round.
He said The hatrick hero, Oluwole Kehinde, had been with the team and even scored 12 goals in the last competition they participated in.
Also speaking with newsmen, Promise Agboola, said lack of training affected his team’s performance.
Agboola said his team would go back to the drawing board to ensure that it qualifies from the competition.
