The former All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Moyosola Niran -Oladunni has deeply shown his displeasure over the attitudes of the elders in the state, saying the state lacks sincere elders from all sides.
Moyosola Niran -Oladunni who made the assertion on Tuesday , to Journalists, on “State Of The State ” said, no other time than now for the elders of the land to speak out on the pitiable situation the state is.
According to him ” ondo state at this moment is suffering from the dearth of sincere elder- statemen who could say it raw in savaging the sorry state of the state”
“As it stands today, no one is piloting the affairs of the state and as well, no single elder stateman has
issued a statement towards the situation”
He said further that for over three – four months, the state has been without a leader, the governor is no where to be found while the deputy is also facing a serious legal battle over impeachment which the elder statemen decided to keep mute.
“we have seen occasions where the elders in the state had at one time or the other criticized the activities of the government at the central, but could keep mute on critical issues pertaining to the state at this moment”
“my question is, where are the elder statemen in the state, the religious leaders, the Socio -cultural & political elders of the state have all gone oblivion over matters affecting the state”
He therefore, urged the people of the state to pray to God in sailing them through “The Ship Of No Pilot” they found themselves
