The Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM) Ondo Zone, a non governmental organization has empowered students of St Stephen Primary School Akure, the Ondo state capital.
The distribution of free writing materials to pupils on Friday 20th October is another major display and recorded achievements of the organization in the zone with meaningful engagements while contributing to the peace and development of the society.
According to the coordinator of Education, Research and Development Committee, the programme is part of the organization’s numerous humanitarian services to support the underprivileged and government in providing quality education in Ondo state.
“Rolling out scholarships for pupils as palliatives to gain access to quality education and relieve the parents of paying school fees is the most essential, especially during this period of economic hardship”
Beneficiaries of these laudable intiatives who could not hide their joy expressed inestimable enthusiasm as they enjoy an uninterrupted right to education without being sent home for school fees again.
Earlier, the leadership of the Neo Black Movement, Ondo Zone led by the President Mr Olawole Muyiwa appreciated the teachers for their steadfastness and unrelenting efforts in preparing the pupils for a greater future. He encouraged the pupils to be success driven and pay attention to their teachers.
The President further charged other organizations to emulate the humanitarian spirit of the Neo Black Movement in helping the needies and addressing real- world challenges
Recipients of the scholarship scheme include; ADEBAYO Ayomiposi , JIMOH Rafatu, ADAMU Misturah, ADEBAYO Demilade, IREDIA Nife and ADEMURE Seun.
