The Ondo State House of Assembly led by the honourable speaker,Rt Hon.Oladiji Olamide has released more damningly details of misconducts and financial misappropriation leveled against the deputy governor of Ondo state, Lucky Ayedatiwa in the state.
The Stewardship report Ayedatiwa has been served impeachment notice to afford him defend various allegations instituted against him and as permitted by Nigeria constitution.
It is also recalled that Ayedatiwa has approached different courts for the protection of his fundamental rights while a Federal High court has granted his prayer, ordering the state House of Assembly, Chief Judge and other parties involved to stop the impeachment process pending the determination of the suit.
However the State House of Assembly has release details of the allegations leveled against the deputy governor having earlier pronounced to continue the impeachment process against the court order while maintaining that the Legislative arm has constitutional backing.
According to the latest documents release by House of Assembly, “The impeachment notice contains Fourteen (14) specific allegations of gross misconduct with detailed particulars to which the Deputy Governor is expected to reply and defend not later than Seven (7) days from the day he was served.
