The Ondo State Football Association seizes the opportunity to congratulate Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye on his confirmation as Chairman of the Board of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Hon Elegbeleye, a former Director-General of National Sports Commission was untill this latest appointment, Chairman of the Interim Management Committee (IMC).
The football governing body in Ondo State is particularly excited that thorough-bred sports administrators as well as former internationals like Daniel Amokachi, Dominic Iorfa and Davidson Onwumi have also been called upon to bring their experience to bear on the newly constituted board.
Great many thanks to the Nigeria Football Federation leadership for appointing round pegs in round holes and tapping from the expertise and experience of Elegbeleye and the other appointees.
Ondo FA is assured that the standard Hon. Elegbeleye set with the NPFL last season, will be a starting point for the League.
