Guiness World Record has awarded a Nigerian Chef, Hilda Bassey as the new record holder for the longest cooking Marathon by an Individual after cooking for a duration of 93hours, 11minutes

Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.”
It’ll be recalled the Akwa Ibom born Chef embarked on the challenge to cook for 100hours on May 12th to 14tth, 2023 at the Amore Gardens Lekki, Lagos.
The previous holder of the same record is an Indian Chef, Lata London who cooked for 87hours, 45minutes,00 Seconds
