Ologunloluwa Warns Against Anti Club Activities
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ondo State, Honourable Bamidele Ologunloluwa has declared that the target before Sunshine Stars in the 2022/23 NPFL season is a top place finish.
Ologunloluwa spelled out the task during a meeting with the leadership and backroom staff of the Owena Whales in his office on Tuesday, where he also read the riot act to all involved with the team.
“We have a mission this season, which is to finish top of the league. We are fighting for the best possible position and not to settle for less; only this will suffice and be pleasing to my, boss – Governor Akeredolu. Good results from the start matters and that will go a long way to encourage the Governor.
“Let me reiterate here to everyone, anti club activities in any guise will not be tolerated under my watch. Anyone found wanting of any prohibited act or conduct will have me to deal with. What I need is unity of purpose; the success of Sunshine Stars depends on our collective efforts and not just the coach; from the ball boys to the senior officers we need to work together.” Ologunloluwa admonished.
The meeting was also attended by the Administrative Secretary of ODSFA, Mr Ijeh Bekewei, the Agency’s Press Officer cum Sunshine Stars’ Secretary, Mr. Ayodele Adewunmi and the Accountant, Alfred O. Osadipe.
Sunshine Stars travel to the Northeast for a date with newly promoted side, Doma United on match day one of the new season.
